It is never too early to think about the upcoming football season. Dan Verdun with Prairie State Pigskin talked with our Coordinator of Officials Matt Young on some of the rule changes for the upcoming season.

Punt formation, targeting adjustments headline rules changes for 2026 season Punt formations and targeting penalties will see adjustments via college football rules changes the 2026 college football season. However, one potential change will not go into effect this fall.

Our Jostens 𝗢𝗩𝗖 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 is Western Illinois Athletics senior outfielder Justin Bogard. Last year he was named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
