My personal reflection of a phenomenal mud day!

MUD DAY

I have mud on my shirt and mud on my nose,
Mud on my hips and between my toes.
I explored, I questioned, I paused, I tried—
The world was wide for my curious eyes.

I felt the texture, noticed the smell,
I stood, I stomped, I slipped, I fell.
My hesitation gave way to delight,
As joy and wonder filled my sight.

My senses danced with every squish,
Each moment messier than I could wish.
I played, I learned, I made a mess—
In muddy fun, I found success.

I’m grateful for this time outdoors,
For playful days and open doors.
Thank you, school, for all you do—
For turning mud into something new.

Sunday is International Mud Day and our kiddos ( and admins and educators) had an amazing time celebrating and exploring in the mud today! SO much learning, exploring, investigating and FUN!
