“Fall represents the impermanence of life with falling leaves illustrating the beauty in endings and transitions. Vibrant colors of red, orange and yellow evoke feelings of passion, abundance and optimism respectfully. The season emphasizes the cyclic nature of life, encouraging reflection on change, release and renewal.”
Fall has always been my favorite season. The beautiful weather, football, all things pumpkin and the beginning of the holiday season. This year, fall will be a time of change, release and renewal in my life.
These past five years I have poured my heart and soul into building Flour Power as a place for children and adults to embrace their love of cooking and fellowship. It has been the most challenging time of my life, beginning with opening my doors during the beginning of Covid, the loss of my sister and cousin, my parents health concerns and raising my mini me! I have worked so hard to build the business you have all so lovingly embraced; however, I came to realize it was best to sell the business to someone who would love it as I have and take it to the next level.
I had numerous interested buyers and a couple I thought were a perfect fit; however, we were not able to reach an agreement. It is still my hope that someone will want to seize this opportunity to purchase my small business with huge potential. It is a wonderful opportunity for the right person to acquire a turnkey business with over 4,500 clients.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to sell the business. Therefore, it is with mixed emotions I am announcing Flour Power Cooking Studios Nashville will be closing its door at the end of September. My proudest accomplishment has been the family we have built within the walls of Flour Power. I adore the young women who have worked by my side, and I am so proud of our relationships. I will miss them tremendously but take comfort in knowing they are in my life always.
