We are looking for full and part time teacher's aides!
Teacher's aides have a key support role in the classroom. They work with the lead teacher to help children succeed in the daycare environment. We are looking for a patient, attentive teacher aides to care for children. The teacher aides will assist children with meals, maintaining their hygiene, monitoring them for health, behavioral, and emotional concerns, providing them with age-appropriate instruction, and working with parents to ensure that children are learning and socializing in a positive way. Teacher aides may also assist with sterilizing toys and play areas and other duties to ensure that the children are in a safe, engaging, and clean environment. If you are a college student looking for part-time work, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in early childhood education. Apply now to jumpstart your teaching career today! Starting rate of pay is $13 with experience, $12.50 without.
Responsibilities:
• To be successful a teacher aide, you should be decisive and patient
• Be thorough and caring with an eye for detail
• Be prepared to meet the physical demands of the position, the stamina to chase after, lift, or carry children as well
• Have an understanding of the childhood development process
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and safety procedures
• Ability to provide activities for children that encourage healthy growth
• Child supervision skills
• Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children
