I have been playing with music for as long as I can remember. I am married to a middle school vice principal and we live in Brentwood, CA with our five awesome kids. When our oldest was ready to start piano lessons I began searching for the right program for her, and stumbled upon Let's Play Music books at my neighbor's home. I was hooked and decided to become a certified teacher myself. While earning a BS degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University, I was able to record and perform with several BYU choirs. Before moving here to CA and joining the Oakland Temple Hill Choir, I toured, recorded and performed with Arizona's Millennial Choirs & Orchestras. I have also enjoyed teaching music to young children in my church for the past several years. Looking back, my elementary, junior high, and high school music teachers taught me music theory and concepts that to this day, help me in my singing and piano playing. I am so grateful to them and I am thrilled that Let's Play Music allows me to provide this same foundation for my own students. I have been teaching LPM for 6 years and I just love it! My Let's Play Music classroom is a place where children can feel safe and secure to explore music, make mistakes, and be silly all while gaining musical talent! We get to sing and play while learning many wonderful music concepts. I hope to introduce you to the world of Let's Play Music!
