What’s something you’ve accomplished during this time?!

Not going to lie, i was enjoying all the free time being with my family & having time for school but now it’s just been way too long 😭 ~ i miss chatting it up all day with you guys & being behind the chair ~ June can’t come fast enough!!!

This week I’m focusing my education on hair cutting
~
Something that i didn’t initially love in beauty school but as i understood it more & more i found that same love for it that i do for color & styling 😌
~
Right now it’s a struggle being in the beauty industry because we can’t do what we love & we aren’t making money but i still feel so lucky to be in it because of all the support & love everyone gives each other. This industry is a community, everyone wants to share their knowledge & see the next stylist do just as well. The amount of free education I’m getting just from Instagram lives & workbooks is blowing my mind but making me more & more excited to get back behind the chair so i can use all this new knowledge!! 💛

One more week of this shelter in place (as long as they don’t push it back) & we’ll finally be able to get back in the salon!!! We’ve made it this far W/O BOX coloring or cutting your own hair we can do it for one more week!!! (Just keep reminding yourself that it’ll take just as long as this shelter in place to get your locks back to how they looked at the beginning of this if you touch box color & cost wayyy more 😳)

There’s so much that goes into this platform & im so not good at it. It can be very overwhelming to make the perfect post consistently so this past week i took a much needed break & didn’t post anything on my feed but it allowed me to get the creative juices flowing again so here’s a pic of this beautiful head of blonde hair ~ we did a full balayage giving her a chunkier look to make the bright blonde pop 💥 a lot more then before @ Brentwood, California

The perfect candidate for clay lightener 🙌🏼 ~ level 6 virgin hair & her goal was a subtle warm golden balayage ~ she lifted to the perfect shade so i didn’t even have to tone her!! She could honestly say it’s her natural color 🤩
