Mudra School of Dance is proud to present our team’s performance at the Muhlenberg International Festival!! We are honored to be part of this celebration and look forward to representing India’s varied culture through the art of Bharatanatyam.

We are excited to announce another of our performers for the Muhlenberg International Festival!

Mudra School of Dance will be joining us to share Indian classical dance including Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi & Mohiniyattam dance. Through traditional and contemporary Indian music and dance, the Mudra Dance Studio has created a community that embraces diversity.

We will be sharing info about each of the performers and vendors over the next couple of weeks leading up to the event!

Join us from 3-6pm on October 11 in downtown Central City, Kentucky for our first International Festival!

Mudra School of Dance partnered with the Sri Ganesh Temple, Nashville, to bring the amazing dancers Smt.Viraja & Shri.Shyamjith Kiran to perform at the Temple - a profoundly intense and top-tier performance that left everyone in awe. It was a wonderful opportunity for local dancers to watch true professionals in action.

And then we had the privilege to learn directly from them during the workshop organized by Mudra School of Dance in Franklin. The dancers were incredibly generous with their teaching, sharing so much knowledge and insight. Such an awesome experience—they were the nicest, most inspiring people ever!!

Huge thank you to Smt.Viraja & Sri.Shyamjith Kiran for sharing their art, to the Ganesha Temple for making this possible, and to everyone who came out and made this event such a success. Grateful for this community!!

Excited to share that Smt. Viraja and Sri. Shyamjith, renowned Kalakshetra alumni, will be touring the U.S. and will be performing at the Ganesha Temple this year.

As part of their visit, they will be conducting a workshop focused on the Bharatanatyam adavus. This is a wonderful opportunity for all of us, as their guidance will greatly benefit our learning.

Moreover, your participation will help pave the way for more such artists to visit Nashville in the future, creating valuable exposure for our students.
