We love Brenham! This week, we were blessed by our community's support and love. On Thursday, we handed out our Mini Grants to teachers. Local businesses and community members funded the Mini Grants, allowing teachers to receive items to help their students in class.
Then, today was the Big Event! Many thanks to the community members, the Brenham High School Theater Department, and the choir for coming out to help touch up our school.
Many thanks, Brenham!!

The race is on, and the standings are already getting interesting! Here’s how the Alton Cubs stack up after the opening action this week:

🥇 #1 KINDERGARTEN — 4 POINTS
The youngest Cubs came ready to compete! Kindergarten grabs the top spot and sets the early pace. The question now: Can they hold on to #1?

🔥 T- #2 SECOND GRADE — 3 POINTS
Second Grade is right on the leader’s heels. Only one point separates them from the top, and this group is very much in the hunt.

🔥 T- #2 THIRD GRADE — 3 POINTS
Third Grade joins the three-way battle for second place. They are within striking distance, and one big attendance day could change the entire leaderboard.

🔥 T- #2 FOURTH GRADE — 3 POINTS
Don’t count out the veteran Cubs! Fourth Grade sits just one point back and is putting pressure on Kindergarten at the top.

👀 #5 FIRST GRADE — 0 POINTS
It wasn’t the start First Grade wanted, but power rankings can change FAST. There is plenty of week left for these Cubs to make a comeback.
Only ONE POINT separates first place from three grade levels tied for second. This race is far from over!
