🏈🦁 EVERY CUB COUNTS — WEEK 1 FINAL RANKINGS 🦁🏈

The final whistle has blown on our first full week of the Every Cub Counts Attendance Challenge, and we have our first Weekly Champion!

🥇 #1 — 3rd Grade | 18 Points
Third Grade takes the top spot after an outstanding week that included a perfect 100% attendance day on Monday! They stayed consistent all week and earned our first Weekly Championship! 🏆

🥈 #2 — 4th Grade | 16 Points
Fourth Grade kept the pressure on all week, including an impressive 99% attendance day on Wednesday. They finished just 2 points behind the leader!

🥉 #3 — 1st Grade | 15 Points
First Grade had a strong stretch with 99%, 98%, and 98% attendance to start the week and remained in the championship hunt all the way through Friday.

🏈 #4 — 2nd Grade | 9 Points
Second Grade started the week strong with a 98% attendance day and continued battling throughout the week.

🏈 #5 — Kindergarten | 5 Points
Our youngest Cubs had a few tough attendance days but showed they can bounce back, reaching 96% on Thursday.

🏆 WEEK 1 CHAMPION: 3RD GRADE! 🏆

But the season is just getting started!

Next Monday, the weekly standings reset to 0, giving every grade level a fresh shot at the next Weekly Championship. We’ll also keep track of points toward our Monthly Champion and ultimately our Every Cub Counts Grand Champion for the year!

It’s AMAZING to see what we can accomplish when Alton families and our generous community partner with PTO to support our school!💚 We have the BEST and most exciting PTO news to share! (Drumroll please… 🥁🥁🥁)

AN ANONYMOUS DONOR HAS GENEROUSLY DONATED THE REMAINING FUNDS NEEDED FOR BOTH SHADE STRUCTURES!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 We are BEYOND grateful! When we received the funds this week, we immediately met with our Shade Pro rep and both shade structures have now been ordered!! Production takes 6-8 weeks, and installation will take 2-3 days! That means our lucky kids will have shade before the end of October!!!

This is absolutely incredible!! Thank you again to all who contributed, and especially to our amazing anonymous donor!!

🏈🦁 EVERY CUB COUNTS POWER RANKINGS 🦁🏈
The rankings are IN as we head into Friday! One attendance day remains this week, and there are still 5 points up for grabs!

🥇 #1 — 3rd Grade | 19 Points
The team to beat! Third Grade opened the week strong, posted a perfect 100% attendance on Monday, and has stayed near the top all week. They have scored points every single day and hold a 2-point lead heading into Friday.

🥈 #2 — 1st Grade | 17 Points
What a run! After starting with 95%, First Grade caught fire with 99%, 98%, and 98% on three straight days. They are only 2 points out of first place, so Friday could change everything!

🥉 #3 — 4th Grade | 16 Points
Consistency has kept Fourth Grade right in the hunt. They have earned at least 3 points every attendance day and posted an impressive 99% on Wednesday. They are only 3 points behind the leader.

🏈 #4 — 2nd Grade | 13 Points
Second Grade came out of the gate strong with back-to-back 98% attendance days. A tougher Thursday slowed their momentum, but with 5 points available Friday, they still have a chance to make a big move in the rankings.

🏈 #5 — Kindergarten | 8 Points
Our youngest Cubs are looking for a Friday comeback! Kindergarten started at 96%, hit a couple of tough attendance days, and then bounced back to 96% today. That momentum could make Friday their strongest finish yet!

A perfect attendance day earns 5 points, so the leaderboard is still very much alive.

Congratulations to our Kind Heart, Bright Mind Award recipient, Christopher Andrade. Christopher has been a shining example of a student with a Kind Heart and Bright Mind from the very first day of school. He consistently models what it means to be focused, responsible, and ready to learn.
Christopher works hard, follows classroom expectations, transitions appropriately, and always strives to do his very best. Just as importantly, he shows genuine kindness toward his classmates and respect for the

🦁 EVERY CUB COUNTS! 💚💛

We officially kicked off our Every Cub Counts Attendance Challenge on Friday, and our Cubs are already off to a strong start!

👏 Congratulations to 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade, who led the way with 98% attendance and earned 4 points each!
Each school day is another opportunity for our grade levels to earn points, climb the leaderboard, and work toward becoming our next Attendance Champion! 🏆

Being at school matters. Every day gives our Cubs another chance to learn, grow, connect, and shine.
