Come out & join us at the Train Like a Champion Clinic and Prospect Show on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at The Washington County Expo ! This event is hosted by Washington Co 4-H, Fayette County 4-H, Colorado County 4-H, Wharton County 4-H - Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, and Austin County 4-H - Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, and open to youth in the surrounding areas! You do not have to be a 4-H member to attend!

Wash Co Families - Please submit your entry forms to the WASHINGTON COUNTY Extension Office by 5:00 on July 10, 2026 to receive a T-shirt for the day of, and Miss Capps will deliver them to the Fayette County Extension Office.

This Summer TLC Clinic is geared towards novice families/exhibitors to gain hands on educational experience with their livestock projects including:
🐑 Lambs
🐐 Goats
🐄 Heifers (commercial halter heifers or purebred heifers)
🐮 Steers
🐇 & for the 1st time - RABBITS

Clinicians/Judges provide:
✋🏻 hands-on demonstration clinic
💥 Showmanship techniques
💥 Show preparation
💥 Real world experience - test those skills
💥 Industry network
💥 Prospect show - critiques for your livestock project & advice on improving as you work towards your target show

🧵✨ Washington County 4-H Sewing Day Camp! ✨🧵

We’re excited to announce our 4-H Sewing Day Camp this summer! Join us for a fun, hands-on experience where campers will learn basic sewing skills while making their very own DIY drawstring backpack to take home.

This is a great opportunity for members to build confidence on a sewing machine in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment!

📅 Date: Tuesday, June 16, 2026

📍 Location: Washington County Expo – Gathering Place
1305 East Blue Bell Road
Brenham, Texas 77833

💲 Cost: $5.00 per camper

🕒 Time Slots (choose one):
• 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM
• 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
• 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM

⚠️ Only 3 spots per time slot to ensure each camper gets plenty of time on a sewing machine!

Taking care of our Earth starts right in our own backyard! 🌍 Our club is proud to do our part by participating in the Washington County Adopt-a-Road Program. This hands-on experience teaches our kids the value of keeping our community clean—and trust us, after putting in the hard work to clean it up, they think twice before throwing trash out the window! 🧹✨
