Dr. Guyton’s second-grade students became researchers as they chose an insect or arachnid to investigate!

Students researched their creature, gathered interesting facts, prepared a presentation, and presented their findings to the class. What a great opportunity for our students to build research, communication, creativity, and presentation skills while learning about the fascinating world around them!

It's been a fun and busy week at Jones Elementary! From field trips to scarecrows, money machine fun to spirit day, and lots of learning, exploring, creating, and discovering in between, we made every moment count!

We also had the opportunity to celebrate our AMAZING PTO and show them how much we appreciate everything they do for our school. 💙

We hope everyone enjoys the break! We will see you back at Jones on Monday, October 12. 🍂

Inspiring students—and future teachers!
Bremen Railblazers Rotary welcomed Stephanie Cook, Jones Elementary School’s Teacher of the Year and Bremen City Schools’ System Teacher of the Year, as our guest speaker on October 1.
Mrs. Cook shared her love of teaching and her commitment to loving and teaching every student who enters her classroom. A lifelong Blue Devil, she continues to inspire her coworkers and students through her passion and care.
BHS students Sofia Fields and Peyton Mixon also attended, and Mrs. Cook encouraged both to continue pursuing their dreams of becoming teachers. The meeting brought a special connection full circle: Mrs. Cook taught Sofia in elementary school, and Sofia shared that she was one of her absolute favorite teachers!
Thank you, Mrs. Cook, for the lasting difference you make and for inspiring the next generation of educators!

👻🎃 Math has never been so spooky!

Mrs. Davis’s gifted math class created a hallway of haunted houses and monsters while demonstrating their understanding of multiplication arrays and the distributive property to solve equations.

We love seeing our Blue Devils use creativity and critical thinking to bring their learning to life!
