Today is a special day, it marks the end of Miss Britt’s Place. The end of a lot of great memories with wonderful children and their families. It’s bittersweet for sure to be ending this chapter. But we have a great send off! Ev and Em and I went to Potato Creek. And we celebrated Caroline’s 9th birthday (real birthday is on next Monday). Thanks for bringing in the yummy and fun rice crispy treats and ice cream!!! 😋 And this evening we will be having our preschool/toddler school graduation.

Happy Fri-yay!!! Today the kids are explored Jane’s Park in Bremen. Then we went to McDonald’s for lunch. 😋 And we celebrated Star Wars day! ⭐️ We wore our Star Wars shirts and ate a BB-8 cake.

Lots to learn and do today.
-🐜 We marched along like ants 🐜
-Thank you to Atlas for bringing in his homemade M&M cookies!
-We painted a page brown in our bug journal and practiced writing our names in the paint.
-Outside we ran around and did the balance beam.
-We checked out what was blooming and growing outside. The apple tree is blooming and the asparagus is really growing!

Today I helped the kids do their last handprint for the year. I calculated it up that we have done 116 handprints this year! 🤯 (atleast that many lol 😂) We have a special end of the year gift with all the handprint cuteness for the families to enjoy. But more on that later. 116 handprints, wow!

This Wednesday Everett completed his 1,000 books before kindergarten program! 📚 💫 Congratulations to Everett!!! We got to go the story time and play at the library, as well. Then we had outdoor play at Miss Britt’s Place. We talked about grasshoppers and did some bug themed learning games.

We made it outside this morning for a good while before we felt like we were going to blow away! 💨 ☀️ And it was a beautiful morning! Spiders 🕷️ were our topic of the day and it was great. They love singing the “itsy bitsy spider” song but using each other’s names instead of saying “spider”.
