No school today… but your work didn’t get the memo? 😅

Trying to work while hearing “I’m bored!” and “Can I have another snack?” can make for a LONG day!

Today, we were open to care for our school age kids, giving them time with friends and families one less thing to juggle.

One of our goals for the coming year is to have more hands on deck than just what’s required! 🧡

We want to build a team that allows us to offer extra support in our classrooms, lend a helping hand to our teachers, and continue creating a great environment for our kiddos!

And that could look different for everyone! Maybe you’re interested in being a floater, substitute, classroom assistant, or taking on a full-time teaching position.

Add “Evacuate the Area” to our Fun Friday activities! 🚨 (everyone is safe)

There was a gas leak near the Breese center today, and what started as a precaution pretty quickly turned into the real deal.

Our normal evacuation plan includes calling the schools for a bus if we need transportation… except it happened right in the middle of afternoon bus routes.

Southern Bus to the rescue! 🚌

Gross motor play is more than just letting them run.

They’re working on balance, coordination, body awareness, confidence, problem solving and even learning how to navigate space with their friends.

To them, it’s just play.

To us, we know there’s a whole lot of development happening along the way. 🥰

And yes… sometimes they really do just need to RUN.

It doesn’t truly feel like Fall until we take a trip to the Apple Orchard! 😆

Pre-K 2 had a blast at Taphorn’s Orchard this morning! They learn SO much about apples, apple trees, the cleaning process, and so much more!

“We are so grateful for the love and care that all 3 of our kiddos have received at Siblings. From the very beginning, we knew they were in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they could learn, grow, and thrive.

Our middle kiddo had several health conditions at birth and when he started at Siblings he required oxygen and special positioning for feedings. I never doubted the care that he would receive. The teachers truly treat every child like family. They are patient, caring, and genuinely invested in each child’s development.

We have watched our children gain confidence, build friendships, and reach so many milestones thanks to the encouragement and support they receive every day. They help celebrate even the little milestones!

Having the app to communicate with teachers and see updates on their day is extra icing on the cake. As parents, there is no greater piece of mind in knowing that your children are loved and well cared for!

Little moments = BIG development. ❤️

Over the past few weeks, our teachers have been spending a little extra time observing where each child is developmentally and finding fun ways to work on those next milestones.

The best part? Most of the time, the kids have no idea they’re “working” on anything. They’re playing, exploring, talking, climbing, creating, problem solving and learning right in the middle of their everyday routines.

Every child develops at their own pace, and these milestone check-ins simply help us be a little more intentional about how we support them right where they are.
