Congratulations to (l-r) seniors Gavin Klostermann, Rhys Wheelan, and Cole Emig, our first Students of the Week for the 2026-2027 school year! In her nomination, Mrs. Maria Zurliene stated, “‘Extraordinary’ perfectly describes the leadership of Gavin, Rhys, and Cole, who served as co-chairs of our annual Freshman Lock-In! The event - filled with fellowship and fun for our seniors and freshmen - was impeccably executed as a result of their hard work and dedication since May (including the summer). Our faculty committee was blessed to work with Gavin, Rhys, and Cole, who truly modeled servant leadership for their peers!”

Gavin is the son of Tom and Kirby Klostermann of Highland, Rhys is the son of Ben and Cindi Wheelan of New Baden, and Cole is the son of Colby and Becky Emig of Highland.

🩷 In support of junior Sadie Holthaus and her family, to assist with expenses related to her recovery following a car accident, we will host a Pink Out Day this Thursday, September 3, 2026, as pink is Sadie’s favorite color.

🩷 Community members are also welcome to deliver donations to our office (M-F, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

🩷 More importantly, please continue to pray for Sadie and her family as she undergoes additional surgeries and continues her journey to recovery. Her positive attitude and determination are inspiring!

Freshmen (l-r) Emerson Daley, Noelle Venturini, Denym Laux, Laney Winkeler, Lovelyn Hayden, Kinsley Beach, Reagan Klostermann, and Brielle Wheelan are pictured at the Freshman Lock-In held on August 14.

Our Class of 2030, hosted by our Class of 2027, attended information sessions, competed in games, enjoyed popsicles, and, most importantly, built unity! The game session included volleyball, Dodgeball, pizza-box relays, Speed Jenga, Grab the Mic, Zumba, and an oversized slip ‘n slide!
