🎉 BIG NEWS FOR JBA & OUR COMMUNITY! 🎉

FREE PUBLIC PRE-K IS COMING TO JUNIOR BUCKAROO ACADEMY! 💙💚

Junior Buckaroo Academy has officially entered into a Pre-K Partnership with Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD, allowing us to offer FREE public Pre-K for eligible 3- and 4-year-olds right here at JBA!

🏫 Pre-K school day: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
🌅 Before-school care available
🌙 After-school care available
❤️ The same familiar JBA environment families already know and love

This means families can receive the benefits of a public Pre-K education without having to give up the childcare schedule working families depend on.

We are not changing who we are. We are building on it.

More information about eligibility, enrollment, classrooms, teachers, wraparound care, and our start date is coming very soon!

Same JBA family. A whole new opportunity.

💙💚 FREE PUBLIC PRE-K. RIGHT HERE AT JBA.

As of October 1, 2026, the U.S. Treasury has automatically created Trump Accounts for eligible children with valid Social Security numbers. That means your child may already have an investment account waiting to be claimed, even if you never signed up.

And depending on when your child was born, there may be money available for that account.

Children born between 2025 and 2028 may qualify for a $1,000 federal contribution. Meanwhile, Michael and Susan Dell have committed $6.25 billion to provide $250 each to 25 million eligible children born between 2016 and 2024.

But there's an important distinction: Having an account doesn't automatically mean your child has received money. The federal $1,000 requires an election, while the Dell contribution depends on eligibility and doesn't require a separate application.

I encourage parents to look into this. It only takes a few minutes to get started.

It’s harvest season — so we started wondering: what would the Solar System look like if we compared its objects to things that grow here on Earth? 🎃

We picked a 30 cm pumpkin for the Sun and scaled every planet down by the same ratio.

The math is simple: divide each planet’s real diameter by the Sun’s diameter, then multiply by 300 mm.

Before anyone asks: what about Pluto? We didn’t forget it! It’s just tiny. At this scale, Pluto would be only about 0.5 mm across — about the size of a grain of sugar.

Have you ever tried comparing the Solar System to everyday objects? What did you use — or what would you like to compare it to? Share your ideas in the comments!

Happy One-Year Anniversary, Ms. Kailauni!

We are so thankful to have you as part of our JBA family! Your calm presence, sweet smile, and sense of humor make you such a special part of our team.

Our kids are lucky to have you! You talk with them, laugh with them, interact with them, and make sure they know they are heard and cared for. It’s easy to see that you genuinely enjoy your kids, and they enjoy having you as their teacher.

Thank you for all of the patience, care, and consistency you’ve given to JBA and your preschoolers over this past year. We are so glad you’re here and can’t wait to see what Year Two brings!
