Are we getting excited? Breckenridge High School Alumni Association will be celebrating our 134th Annual Banquet, Saturday evening May 23, 2026 at 5:00 pm. We have only sold 33 tickets so far. They are on sale until Wednesday, May 20th until noon. If you do not reserve your tickets be for then you take a chance of shortage of food. PLEASE text, message or call. Hy-Vee catering secured. Tickets are on sale for $25.00 per person for advance sales and $28.00 from May 20th at noon until the night of the Banquet at the door. I will hold tickets to be picked up at the front door.

It’s been 60 years that the class of 1965 became members of the Breckenridge High School Alumni. At the 133rd Banquet left to right Janice Mckee, Jim Greenwood Pam Berg and David Linville were present out of 14 in the class of 1965. There is eight of them still living. Sorry that four were unable to attend. It was nice to see old friends from other classes. It was a good evening.

Anna Faye Schlemminger
August 12, 1942 - February 14, 2025

Anna Faye Schlemminger, 82, Hamilton, MO., passed away on February 14, 2025, at her home in Hamilton.

Anna was born on August 12, 1942, in Chillicothe, MO., to James Luther and Nellie I. (Jones) Thompson. She was raised in Breckenridge, MO., and graduated from high school there. She moved to Hamilton later and lived there all of her life.

Anna worked for the Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Hamilton and Hardee's restaurant in Cameron before working at the American Italian Pasta Company in Excelsior Springs, MO. In her spare time she loved to tend to her flowers and flower beds and enjoyed working at Still On The Hill Greenhouse, her friend's greenhouse, in Hamilton. Spending time with her great-grandchildren gave her the most enjoyment.

Preceding Anna in death were her parents, her brother-Franklin Thompson; and her son, James.

Survivors who will miss her dearly are: Daughters-Theresa Schlemminger, Hamilton, and Carol Anderson, Hamilton; Daughter-In-Law-Pam Schlemminger, Cameron; 5 Grandchildren-Scott (Jessica) Schlemminger, Excelsior Springs, MO.; Tabitha Schlemminger, Hamilton; Tyler (Jess) Schlemminger, Cameron; Marshall (Hannah) Millikan, Hamilton; and Miranda Barnes, Hamilton; Great-Grandchildren-Hynder, Willow, Mason, Wilder, Jade, Raelynn, Wiley, Kanyon, Noah, Elijah, Marshall Jr. (M.J.), and Mathias; 5 Sisters and 1 Brother.

There will be no services held.
