Beginning in 2027–28, one elementary school will serve the Breckenridge community at the current Upper Blue Elementary campus.

Join us for our 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁 on Thursday, September 3rd from 4:15 PM – 5:15 PM! We are buzzing with excitement to welcome our families into the building to meet teachers, tour classrooms, and kick off the year.

🛝𝗔𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: Please wait on the playground until 4:15 PM while our teachers make final preparations.

🧢 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲: Turn in your completed scavenger hunt sheet for a chance to win a Bulldog hat!
🏛️ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀: Visit the GYM during your hunt to connect with Mountain Top Explorium, Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department, Breck Create, Scouts and more!

📌 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗧𝗶𝗽𝘀:
🚸 𝗞𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀: Gather in Ms. Schroder’s room (supervision is available in the Media Center for kindergarten students).

🐾 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬, 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐄𝐥 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬! Our students are taking learning to the next level as "Trailblazers of Tomorrow" by completing their 2026–27 Bulldog Passports!

This passport helps our Bulldogs focus on five core traits across every area of the school, from the classroom and playground to the bus and media center:

🦁 𝐁𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬: Trying new things, standing up for classmates, and speaking up.
🔍 𝐁𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐬: Asking questions, noticing patterns, and investigating how things work.
🌍 𝐁𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞: Respecting diverse perspectives, trying foods from other cultures, and including everyone.
🌱 𝐁𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡-𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝: Learning from mistakes, improving skills, and practicing patience.

📩 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐭𝐞𝐦: Please check the back of your student's 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 for their Bulldog Passport! If you haven't already signed and returned it, take a moment to review these goals together, sign the bottom, and send it back to school so we can use it all year long.

We also encourage you to talk about these five traits at home and celebrate when you see your Bulldog showing them in daily life!

You are cordially invited to a BRE Community Gathering – Tuesday, June 2, Carter Park Pavilion, 3:55pm

Following the Bike Rodeo and conclusion of the school day, the Breck El community is invited to come together for an informal potluck gathering to connect, celebrate the end of a wonderful school year, and kick off summer together.

Students, families, staff, alumni, and neighbors are all welcome as we spend time together and celebrate the relationships, memories, and strong sense of community that make Breck El so special. As our school community begins preparing for the changes ahead, we hope this gathering can also be an opportunity to come together in a positive and supportive way.

Please feel free to bring a snack, treat, or beverage of choice if you would like.

There is no formal agenda — just an opportunity to enjoy time together, reflect on a meaningful year, and look ahead to a great summer.

A special thank you to the Town of Breckenridge for generously donating the Carter Park Pavilion space for our community to gather.
