You are cordially invited to a BRE Community Gathering – Tuesday, June 2, Carter Park Pavilion, 3:55pm

Following the Bike Rodeo and conclusion of the school day, the Breck El community is invited to come together for an informal potluck gathering to connect, celebrate the end of a wonderful school year, and kick off summer together.

Students, families, staff, alumni, and neighbors are all welcome as we spend time together and celebrate the relationships, memories, and strong sense of community that make Breck El so special. As our school community begins preparing for the changes ahead, we hope this gathering can also be an opportunity to come together in a positive and supportive way.

Please feel free to bring a snack, treat, or beverage of choice if you would like.

There is no formal agenda — just an opportunity to enjoy time together, reflect on a meaningful year, and look ahead to a great summer.

A special thank you to the Town of Breckenridge for generously donating the Carter Park Pavilion space for our community to gather.

Hello Breck El Families,

Please plan to attend this highly important Community Meeting with Superintendent Tony Byrd, CFO Kara Drake, and Communications Director Kerstin Andersen on Monday, March 16 from 4:00–5:00 PM regarding the district Master Plan.

The Master Plan Committee has recommended consolidating Breckenridge Elementary and Upper Blue Elementary. The Board of Education will make a final decision in late April/May, and community input is critical before that decision is made.

We strongly encourage families to attend to learn more, ask questions, and make your voice heard.

♟️ Friday mornings at Chess Club are filled with learning, connection, and thoughtful play. Nearly 50 students gather each week to be courageous in their thinking, curious about new strategies, and growth-oriented as they learn from every match. As they continue to grow and prepare together, we’re excited to see if this talented group can defend our chess tournament championship this spring! 🏆

We danced our way into holiday break with Celebrate the Beat! So proud of our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders for a high energy performance. Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and safe break!

Today’s hallway parade was full of PJs, smiles, and lots of “balloons”! 🎈 Our students showed off their creative creations after reading Balloons Over Broadway and learning all about the magic behind the Macy’s Parade. 🦃✨
