Fun today as we had a picnic during snack and read outside!

Good afternoon! Tomorrow we will be having our 2nd Grade Celebration. We are going to be playing games outside with the other class so please have students dress accordingly.
We may be getting a little wet so I am encouraging the kids to bring in extra clothes since we have our awards assembly at 1:00.

Fun at Field day!!! Tomorrow we will begin watching Because of Winn Dixie and we will be cleaning out our lockers. The last newsletter for the year will be coming home!!

Note from Mr. Baldwin regarding field day. Please bring extra clothes, sunscreen and water!!

We are finishing our book study this week, Because of Winn Dixie. The students would like to watch the movie it is a PG movie so I need consent to allow them to watch the movie. I will be sending home a note. Please send me a message or comment here or sign the permission slip. Thank you!!

Newsletter and reminder of countdown. No school tomorrow or Monday! See you all Tuesday!!

Today was busy with alphabet countdown ( N- Nutter Butters,p-popcorn, and balloons we use o- oxygen to blow them up!) and field trip to Drake House and Plank Road Museum! Students enjoyed ice cream I missed picture! We also made signs for seniors walking through tomorrow!

Tomorrow we have our Field Trip to the Plank Road House and Museum.
If you plan on attending, please meet us in our classroom at 9:40 we will be leaving by 9:45, and walking to the museum.
Students have been grouped with chaperones. I will give you a card with your students names on them. Each chaperone has 2-3 kids. Some have changed since first list due to increase of chaperones.
After, we will walk on over to Smittys and enjoy some ice cream. We should be returning to school around 10:45am.
Ice cream for the kids is already taken care of but if you would like some ice cream you will have to purchase your own.

Yesterdays countdown and todays…..

Had the letter H for us today and the letter G so I decided to let the students go outside and enjoy reading today!! Then we worked on more students presenting!!

Newsletter, end of year countdown and Field trip information!! Mrs. Pryor will be working on contacting parents to let them know student progress and things that can be worked on over the summer. Thank you to all of you for allowing me to educate your child this year it has been a wonderful year getting know so many amazing children and families!!

Last Friday, Mrs. Pryor’s class did outdoor reading and released our butterflies that we’ve been raising. They had a blast!!

Finished presentations, dioramas will be sent home Friday!! Also learned some touch points with money!! Practiced counting money today too!!

Today the students started their research on a chosen country. They are learning how to use google slides. They were so excited! They are all working so hard!

Students had fun today working in pairs!!

Some habitats that have arrived… parents these are an extension activity to be done at home. If your are unable to do one, you child can still present their research paper to the class.
