Our JROTC Military Ball was a huge success!

Congratulations to all of our cadets for representing our program so well, with a special recognition to our senior cadets, we are incredibly proud of you and all you’ve accomplished.

A heartfelt thank you to Major Allen Barron and SFC Camile Foggy for being outstanding JROTC instructors and for their dedication to our students.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Jennifer with Creole Lunch Box for the delicious food and to Cricket at Piggly Wiggly for the amazing cake, it truly made the night even more special!

Mr. Johnny Leday & Mr. Myles Taylor accompanied students to the FFA Area 3 Welding and Small Engines Contest held at the ABC Westlake Training Center.

🥈The team of Noah Delahoussaye and Carsyn Simoneaux placed 2nd, with Carsyn also earning High Point Individual honors.

🥉 The team of Luke Landry and Bronson Prejean placed 3rd.

Both teams have advanced to the State Contest on March 25. We are proud of their hard work and dedication—keep up the great work!

✨ Student Spotlight: Justin Fredieu ✨

Meet Justin Fredieu! Justin attended the Cosmetology Program at CCRC and is a 2019 graduate of SMSH. He continued his education at AVEDA and has now been behind the chair for about six years. Today, he is a talented hairstylist based in Lafayette, Louisiana at The Color Bar Salon.

Justin is known for creating bold, dimensional color and modern, high-impact hair transformations. His passion for extensions, creative color placement, and lived-in color helps clients feel confident and truly seen.

His work has gained recognition in the professional hair community with placements in the One Shot Hair Awards and the Masters of Balayage Awards, and he has also had the opportunity to work with Masters of Balayage.

Justin’s approach focuses on individuality, creating customized looks for each client while staying on top of the latest beauty trends. From vibrant reds to seamless dimensional color, he’s known for delivering results that stand out both in person and on camera.

Outside of the salon, Justin enjoys traveling, exploring new cities, watching movies, and continuing to learn new techniques in the beauty industry.

We are proud to see Justin thriving in the beauty industry and can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next! ✂️✨
