Mrs. Nicky’s 6th grade Crusaders put the Engineering Design Process to the test with a hands-on challenge: design and build a table using only 20 sheets of newspaper and 3 meters of tape that could hold a book 15 centimeters above the table! ⚜️📰

Students brainstormed multiple solutions, made design choices, built prototypes, tested their designs, identified what worked (and what didn’t!), and then thought about ways to improve their designs.

First day in atrium for Ms. Kim’s PreK 4 Crusaders. Learning the sign of the cross ⚜️✝️

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a Montessori-based religious ed program with levels from age 3 to age 12. The program is rooted in scripture and liturgy and walks children through Gospel stories and liturgical rites at their developmental level. The curriculum follows the liturgical calendar, pulling Gospel stories that we will encounter in Sunday masses. It also covers the Mass, the Baptism Rite, and special feasts including Christmas, Easter, and Pentecost. PreK 3 and PreK 4 will visit the atrium for their theology time.

A morning church tour for our PreK 3 & 4 Crusaders! They learned a lot from Ms. Kaitlin. They were all very reverent for our first school mass last week. ⚜️✝️

A morning scavenger hunt at St. Bernard Church for our Kindergarten Crusaders and their 8th grade buddies! They familiarized themselves with our beautiful church to help them understand where everything is. Lots of questions answered. It was a fun and informative morning! Our PreK 3 & 4 Crusaders visited and learned a lot from Ms. Kaitlin! They were all very reverent for our first school mass last week. ⚜️✝️
