Thank you to everyone who participated in our annual Graduation Pathways Informational Session, held on Wednesday, August 19th!

It was wonderful to see so many of our students and families come out to learn more about the opportunities that St. Martin Parish Schools has to offer. We were also excited to welcome admissions recruiters from University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Upward Bound Program to share information and resources with our families.

Pre-ordered 2025-2026 yearbooks will be ready for pick up in the BBHS front office starting on Monday, August 24th. Extra books will be on sale starting the week of August 31st. Current BBHS students can purchased yearbooks from Coach Laurie during 1st lunch or 4th block. Other purchasers can purchases yearbooks from the front office during school hours. Cost of a yearbook is $55. There are only a few extra yearbooks available for purchase.

Reminder!
Chromebook paperwork must be completed online via the parent/guardian’s JCampus account before students can receive their Chromebook. If you do not have your parent/guardian account already set up, you will need to contact the BBHS front office during school hours to acquire your PSN number (only released to parent/guardian). From there, go to stmartin.edgear.net/progress via your web browser to create your account. Once your account is created, you are able to start using the JCampus app! Once the paperwork is completed from the parent/guardian account, the technology coordinator will work to get the student their assigned Chromebook for the year. The student does not need to email their documents to the technology coordinator as it will be already on file if done correctly.

The 2026-2027 school year is finally here, and we are calling on each of our students to help set the tone for an incredible year!

Starting a new school year comes with a mix of excitement and nerves. Let's make sure every individual feels welcomed, included, and ready to succeed from the moment they walk through the doors.

Here is how you can pass on the good vibes tomorrow:
🐾Guide the way: If you see someone scanning their schedule looking lost, help them find their classroom.
🐾Open your circle: Invite someone looking for a place to sit at lunch to join your table.
🐾Keep it friendly: A simple "good morning," a smile, or holding the door goes a long way in creating a positive atmosphere.
🐾Show respect: Bring patience and positive energy for your teachers, staff, and bus drivers who worked hard to prepare for today.

💻Chromebooks 💻

Parents! Be sure to complete the digital Student Device Loan Agreement and SMPSB Educational Systems Consent via your progress center - must use parent account to complete.

Steps:
1. Log into your parent account via the JCampus Student app or via stmartin.edgear.net/progress (If you do not have a parent account set up yet, you will need to contact the BBHS front office during school hours to get your PSN number for your student to set up an account.)
2. Upon logging in, you should see an alert about new documents being available. Select the area that says “documents” (top bar on webpage and lower part of home page on app).
3. Once in documents section, select a document, review the information, digitally sign the form, and submit it. Complete this step for both documents.

It’s is very important you read each document carefully as there are some important changes within each document. Paper copies of both of these documents are available upon request in the BBHS front office. Students will not receive a Chromebook until both forms are submitted.
