Last night’s School Board meeting officially launched our new school year, and the excitement is already in the air! 📚✨

One of my favorite Board traditions is representing our amazing schools—and last night, I was proud to represent Falcon Academy! 🦅💙

The future is taking shape at Brea Junior High School, and we’re excited to give our community a first glimpse at what’s ahead!

Through the Measure H Bond Program, we’re working toward a modern, innovative learning environment designed to inspire our students, support our staff, and serve our community for years to come. This sneak-peek rendering offers just a glimpse of the exciting possibilities!

Last night at Olinda, we hit the ground running with another fantastic Back-to-School Night! 📚🎉

It was wonderful seeing our parents engaged, excited, and ready to partner with our incredible teachers and staff to make this a great year for our students. That kind of energy is exactly how we kick off a new school year! 🙌

Thank you, Olinda families and staff, for bringing the enthusiasm and making the evening such a success! Let’s make it a great year! 🚀🐾

We’re Back! 🚀🎉

And just like that… we’re back! What an incredible first day across our campuses! The energy, excitement, and smiles were absolutely contagious.

I had the opportunity to visit Mariposa and Falcon, and it was wonderful to see our students and families returning with so much enthusiasm—and our incredible staff ready to welcome everyone back with open arms.

There’s something truly special about the first day of school. It’s a fresh start, new possibilities, new friendships, new goals, and another opportunity to inspire and empower our students to reach their full potential.

To our students, parents, and staff: welcome back! Here’s to a year filled with learning, growth, discovery, and unforgettable moments.

✨ A New School Year. A New Opportunity to Make a Difference! 📚💙

Monday was an incredible morning as we welcomed back our amazing BOUSD teachers and staff to kick off the 2026–27 school year!

The energy was contagious—filled with learning, collaboration, laughter, and reconnecting with colleagues. Most importantly, there was a shared sense of purpose: preparing to inspire, support, and empower every student who walks through our doors.

That’s “The Brea Difference.” It’s our people, our passion, our families, and a community committed to helping every student thrive.

I couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead!

🎉 Please join us in welcoming the newest members of the Brea Olinda High School administrative team! 🐾

At our July 23 Board of Education meeting, we proudly appointed Dr. Nicole Bear and Dr. Brandon Frank as the newest Assistant Principals at Brea Olinda High School!

Together, Dr. Bear and Dr. Frank bring more than 30 years of combined experience in public education, along with a shared passion for student success, instructional excellence, and collaborative leadership. Their dedication to creating a positive, supportive school culture will help our Wildcats continue to learn, grow, and thrive.

We are excited to welcome these outstanding leaders to the BOHS family and can’t wait to see the incredible impact they’ll make for our students, staff, and community.

Congratulations, Dr. Bear and Dr. Frank, and welcome to the Wildcats team! 💙💛
