We are beyond excited that our Sign up for Snack Cart Volunteers is full. Thank you so much to each and everyone that signed up. For those of you that would like to help in other ways, you can send money with your kid for snacks! This is the only fundraiser WBJH PTO does so please help support us. 💕

Snack Cart has been approved. We are stocked up and ready to serve the students. First date is next Friday. Please sign up for future dates you maybe available. You will be required to have applied for volunteer application on district website recently posted, this is required to be renewed each year.
This job requires some simple math skills and ability to manage a little bit of chaos. We are so grateful for your willingness to serve! This is one of the things the students look forward to most each week💕

We are beyond grateful for the incredible response to our post last night! Your willingness to volunteer and support our students means so much to us.
Because of your responses, we're feeling optimistic that we'll have enough volunteers to continue all of the programs and events we've been able to provide in the past. We're also excited to welcome new faces and the fresh ideas and energy they bring!
It was encouraging to learn that the low turnout wasn't due to a lack of interest, but rather scheduling conflicts or simply not knowing about the opportunities to get involved.
Thank you to everyone who shared our post, reached out, or offered to help. We truly appreciate your support and are looking forward to an amazing year together!

Good afternoon!
We had a very disappointing turnout at this morning's meeting, so we wanted to reach out to see if it was simply a scheduling conflict or if it reflects what volunteer availability may look like for the upcoming school year.
As we begin planning for next year, we're trying to gauge whether we'll have enough volunteers to continue offering the activities and support we've been able to provide in the past. We have unfortunately lost several of our dedicated volunteers as their students have moved on to high school, and we need to know if we have enough new faces willing to step in.
Our greatest needs are:
* Teacher Appreciation Lunches (once a month, approximately 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) 9/16, 10/21, 11/18, 12/16, 1/20, 2/17, 3/17, 5/3-5/6
* Snack Cart (most Fridays, approximately 12:45–2:50 p.m.)
We understand that many parents work, and we truly appreciate everyone who donates snacks and other items—that support is incredibly valuable! However, we also need a few more volunteers who can help in person when they're available.
The Snack Cart is our primary fundraiser, and the money raised directly benefits our students and staff. Last year, it helped purchase new books for the English department, black lights for pep rallies, teacher appreciation lunches, PBIS incentives, and Field Day activities.
Our goal has always been to say "yes" whenever a need arises, and we'd love to continue doing that. But without replacing some of the volunteers we're losing, we simply can't promise we'll be able to maintain the same level of involvement this year.
Please know that we're not asking anyone to commit to every Friday or every monthly lunch. Even volunteering occasionally makes a tremendous difference. The more volunteers we have, the lighter the commitment becomes for everyone.
If you've ever considered getting involved, this is a wonderful time to jump in. We'd love to have your help and continue making a positive impact for our students, teachers, and school community.

This morning we wrapped up an incredible week celebrating the amazing Teachers and Staff at WBJH! A huge thank you to Hagan Risk Partners and Kate’s Coffee for your generous donations. Because of your support, our staff started their day with full bellies and plenty of caffeine to keep them going strong!
We are beyond grateful for the countless hours, care, and dedication our teachers and staff pour into our children every single day. As parents, we know the junior high years can be some of the most challenging and formative seasons in a child’s life. That’s why we are so thankful our students are surrounded by such an incredible group of adults who continue to encourage, support, and love them wholeheartedly — even on the days when they may feel exhausted themselves. 💕

Day 3! Today we brought the picnic vibes to Teacher Appreciation Week! 💕 Huge thanks to Carta Valley for generously providing delicious club and chicken salad sandwiches, plus the most amazing warm peach cobbler that everyone was raving about. Our teachers and staff were also spoiled with a sweet treat from Lucy’s Sips and Sweets — the banana pudding cookies were absolutely incredible! 🤤
Everything paired perfectly with our drink bar where teachers could create flavored lemonades, teas, and fun dirty soda combinations. We are so thankful for the incredible local businesses that help us celebrate our teachers and staff in such a BIG way!

Day two! Today we treated our teachers and staff to the “whole enchilada”… okay, it was actually nachos—but with churro cheesecake and tres leches, it definitely counts!
We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming generosity of local businesses like Madeline’s, Margarita Jones and Vintage Sparkle. Their support goes above and beyond, and it truly makes a meaningful difference for our teachers and staff. Because of their kindness, we’re able to create moments like this that remind our educators just how valued and appreciated they are 💕
