Pull pork plate fundraiser for the Cockrell Family

Pulled pork plates will be available in the Fellowship Hall on Saturday, September 12th from 11-2. Plates can be eaten here or taken to-go. Make sure to purchase tickets from the Hospitality Committee by September 2nd! See Norine Fielder with any questions.

So much happening today at New Zion !

We Started service with a love offering going to the Cockrell Family which we will be collecting next week also, so if you feel lead to contribute please be prepared for next weeks love offering.

It’s the first Sunday of the month which means it’s time for our monthly $1 offering to help with postage for our operation Christmas child shoe boxes -
Items to be collected this month are accessories ( combs/ brushes / hats / fun hair clips / bandanas / play jewelry etc)

At the end of service I announced my resignation as song leader. I will be serving through the end of Aug. In true New Zion fashion the church loved on me and prayed over my family. A beautiful sentiment I’ll never forget.

Lastly our church participated in the county wide prayer walk visiting the Simpson Central Campus. If you couldn’t make the prayer walk make an effort to lift up our students and teachers as they head back to school this week.

Thank you to everybody that donated, worked or shopped our rummage sale. During the three day event we raised over $1500 to put toward our youth fund. Thank you Jesus for another successful event!
