Big Smiles is coming to BUHS! 😁🦷

Our school has partnered with Big Smiles to provide in‑school dental care on October 27th in the Library during school hours. Dental care keeps students healthy, learning, and thriving — preventing pain, missed school days, and long‑term issues.

Most students with Medicaid/CHIP receive care at no cost, and private insurance or affordable self‑pay options are available. Paper consent forms will be sent through tutorial, or you can sign up using the online consent form below. Please return paper forms as soon as possible.

Dia De la Independencia Celebration!🇲🇽

We honored the traditions of Mexican heritage in celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day and Hispanic Heritage Month, campus was filled with festive energy as Los Alacranes performed. Students showcase their spirit in the El Grito competition, piñata hitting, and a Connect 4 competition.

Our Community Schools program kicked off its first “Let’s Taco‑bout It!” 🌮 meeting on September 15th at the BUHS Cafeteria! Families got a closer look at the workshops, resources, and programs available on campus — including the Family Resource Center, Coffee Cat, and the Weekend Backpack Program.

We’re also celebrating Community School’s Coordinator Appreciation Week and want to thank our coordinators for all the heart, effort, and support they pour into our students every day.
