This June, students from an all-girls school in New York City joined us in Peru’s Sacred Valley for a transformative journey focused on sustainability, cultural immersion, and girls’ empowerment.
Together, they stepped beyond the classroom and into a world of living history, Indigenous wisdom, breathtaking mountain landscapes, and vibrant communities. They hiked ancient trails, learned from local artisans and community members, explored the rich history of the Andes, and experienced a way of life rooted in connection—to the earth, to one another, and to the generations that came before.
Through shared experiences and meaningful conversations, they discovered the power of slowing down, being present, and seeing the world through a different lens.
At GOGI Abroad, we believe in going outward to grow inward. Travel challenges us to expand our perspectives while deepening our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world.
Their journey culminated at Machu Picchu, a powerful reminder of human ingenuity, resilience, and our connection to the past. They returned home with new friendships, greater confidence, and memories—and lessons—that will stay with them long after the journey ended.
Some of the most important lessons aren’t taught in a classroom—they’re lived.

For many years, GOGI Abroad and Fit Body Boot Camp of Westminster have shared a love for adventure, community, and the transformative power of the Camino.
This weekend, we gathered with alumni from two of our Camino journeys for a wonderful reunion filled with laughter, stories, and memories from the trail. It was such a joy to reconnect and reflect on the friendships, growth, and experiences that continue long after the walk is over.
And we may have let a little secret slip… 👣✨
We’re excited to announce that we’ll be returning to Spain and Portugal for the Portuguese Camino in September 2027!
More details will be coming soon, but for now, we’re simply grateful for this incredible community and the many journeys still ahead.
Buen Camino! ❤️

We are honored to welcome an incredible all-girls school from New York to Peru for a journey of empowerment, sustainability, and cultural exchange. Together, we will learn from Indigenous wisdom keepers, explore the Sacred Valley, engage with the Q’ewar Project, discover the beauty and meaning of traditional Andean textile arts, and deepen our connection to the earth. Through shared experiences, meaningful conversations, and cross-cultural learning, these young women will explore what it means to lead with courage, curiosity, compassion, and purpose. 🌿✨
