Tomorrows Peacebuilders | Peace Direct Tomorrow’s Peacebuilders are the global awards for local peacebuilding.

Julienne Gage visited our Musicians Without borders elective, the Jóvenes en Acción program, and representatives from other World Learning programs this summer during our programs. One of our CONTACT faculty members, Susie Belleci, is at the US Capitol Building right now hearing from legislators who have staged a sit-in on the floor of the US Senate. is their plan and reform of current US gun laws which facilitate the epidemic of mas gun violence in this country is their goal.

Susie is calling for others in the DC area to join her to witness and engage in this very significant moment for the US government.

Circus Kathmandu has provided some much needed positive energy to Nepal in the form of circus. Many of their performers are survivors of child trafficking. The troupe has also provided some much needed positive energy to the CONTACT program in the past, and we hope that relationship builds in the future.

With that in mind, please join us in supporting their effort to fully fund a film on three of their founders. They have 39 hours in which to raise £1622. Their efforts will be bolstered by money, encouragement, or a combination of the two!

Help us finish the film about Nepal's first and only circus! Even When I Fall tells the story of 3 incredible women, survivors of child trafficking, who set up Nepal's first circus.

Our Founder Paula Green was in Myanmar last month delivering two trainings on peacebuilding. At the conclusion of the program her participants celebrated her wonderful teachings with a gift signed by everyone.

The CONTACT program agrees that we all want justice in this world!

CONTACT Begins!

Nearly 30 participants are arriving today and tomorrow to further their knowledge and skills in the peacebuilding field. We're glad to welcome them to the CONTACT family!

CONTACT South Asia 2015 begins soon! Staff arrived in Kathmandu yesterday and are working through jet lag to get all the details sorted.

We're very much looking forward to this program. Past alumni who would like to visit are encouraged to get in touch so that we can make those arrangements.
