Oak Grove School

Oak Grove & Canal Street Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, Wednesday 1/7 due to the icy road conditions.
Drop off at Oak Grove will begin at 9:45 at the Clark Ave gate, if you arrive after 10:00 please drop off at the main entrance to Oak Grove. Canal Street drop off is at 10:00.
Dismissal will be as usual at the end of the school day.
Be safe out there!

Oak Grove School Leadership Council will have it's first meeting of the year on Thursday 9/25 from 5:30-7:00 in the Oak Grove Library and via Google Meet.

Childcare will be provided! Everyone is welcome!

Happy Friday! The first few days of school have come and gone. Here's a few bulletin boards that are popping up in our hallways!

Don't forget there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, 9/1 for Labor Day. We'll see everyone back at Oak Grove on Tuesday 9/2!

Today we welcomed families to an Open House at BECC in the Canal Street School. There was great energy and our classrooms are ready to come alive with pre-k kiddos next week!

If your kiddo ate lunch at Oak Grove School today did they mention we had CHOCOLATE MILK!? We haven't had chocolate milk in years, and it's probably the most requested item to have in our cafeteria. The students were surprised and happy when the reached the end of the lunch line today! Oh and we had some delicious made from scratch pizza today along with salad and homemade dressings! It was a great first day at Oak Grove School!

Do you recognize Jamie Champney? She was a para in our pre-k classroom for five years. She'll be teaching second grade this year at Oak Grove School! Welcome to your new role Jamie, there's no doubt your classroom will be a fun place to be!

We are so excited to welcome these new faces to our school community and we think you'll like them very much too!

Staff were back at Oak Grove School on Friday! They were challenged to find 100 (tiny) apples hidden around the building, and they found them all. There was great positive energy and enthusiasm for the upcoming school year! We have a few more days to get the building and classrooms ready before we welcome students back on Wednesday!
