Say hello to Sam Harlow, the newest member of our Edge of Leadership (EOL) team! Sam brings a lot of experience and creative energy to her new EOL Educator & Professional Development Specialist role. She comes to us with a background in public and private schools, where she primarily taught high school English, took on various administrative functions, and developed Project Based Learning programs. Her interest in adventure education dates back to her time as a student and later as a teaching apprentice at the High Mountain Institute in Leadville, CO. Stay tuned for new and exciting developments from Sam on the PD front.

A High 5 welcome to Chris Sanchez, who recently started teaching on the Edge of Leadership team. Chris works directly with all 5th, 6th, and 7th-grade students in our Edge of Leadership program in the Keene schools. Helping students learn and providing experiences that allow them to feel empowered and accomplished is a big motivation for Chris. We're thrilled to have Chris on our team of educators!

We're back from our 3-day Annual Office Retreat! We gathered on the shores of Lake Champlain at Camp Dudley (awesome hosts) to recharge our batteries and spend time together in a way that inspired the whole team to connect, empower and lead. We worked hard and played hard - many of us are recovering from a lively game of dodgeball. We are energized to be heading into a new year with a common purpose and boundless creative inspiration to share with everyone.

A near perfect day to visit the High 5 Adventure Challenge Course today! Students and teachers from Franklin Elementary in the Keene School District spent the day with our Edge of Leadership (EOL) team. EOL is a program prioritizing leadership development, through adventure education and social and emotional learning.

The day was made extra special by a visit from SAU29 Superintendent Rob Malay and Alana Fiero from C&S Wholesale Grocers.

High 5, with generous support from C&S Wholesale Grocers, has partnered with the Keene School District to bring EOL to every school in the district. The impact of this public-private-nonprofit educational partnership has been significant. We're grateful to work with such supportive and engaged partners.
