Vermont Technical College Southeast Region Campus Welcome to the Southeast Region Campuses for Vermont State University, Nursing Programs (PN & ADN). We are one of these!

While Vermont Technical College's main campus is in Randolph, VT (and offers studies in agricultural, engineering, veterinary technology, computer science and other majors--please visit https://www.vtc.edu/), there are many nursing program sites around the entire state of Vermont. The Southeast Region's Nursing Program is based in Brattleboro but has student cohorts in Keene, NH, as well as Brattleboro. We offer on-campus Practical Nursing and Associate Degree Nursing Programs as well as an online Bachelor of Science Degree Nursing Program.

During , we recognize Anna Hunt Marsh (c. 1769 – 1834), the first woman to establish a mental health hospital.

The Brattleboro Retreat was founded in 1834 through a $10,000 bequest, as attested in her will, for the humane treatment of people with challenges.

Despite the prevailing attitudes of the time, which often dismissed mental illness as untreatable, Anna remained steadfast in her belief in compassionate care, a legacy that continues today.
