Level II students in the Criminal Justice program at WRCC are sampling MRE's for lunch today, compliments of the Vermont National Guard.

WRCC held it's annual NTHS/Awards Evening on May 21st in the Middle School Multipurpose room. Twenty students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, and two-year completers were also recognized and presented an honor cord. Many awards and scholarships were awarded to students representing the various programs that are offered at WRCC. Congrats to everyone!

The Business and Criminal Justice programs from WRCC traveled to New York City today to visit Wall Street, World Trade Center and so much more.

The WRCC Business and Criminal Justice classes attended the ACLU presentation on Thursday at BUHS.

WRCC Business students had an incredible experience visiting Brattleboro Town Hall and connecting with local leaders and organizations who are making a real impact in our community.
A big thank you to Town Manager John Potter and Police Chief Jeremy Evans for taking the time to speak with our students and share insights into public service, leadership, and community work. We also appreciated the opportunity to learn from the Brattleboro Historical Society and connect with BCVT.
Experiences like this help bring classroom learning to life and show students the many pathways available to them right here in our region. We are grateful for the strong community partnerships that continue to support our students' growth and future success.

Orlando Alvarez, Criminal Justice instructor at the career center, had the distinguished honor of being invited to the promotion ceremony of Jeremy Evans to Chief of Police of the Brattleboro Police Department and Adam Petlock to Assistant Chief of Police at the Brattleboro Police Department. Congratulations! Police Chief Norma Hardy retired on Monday. Best wishes!
