God is still on the throne and hears even our faintest cry. Please continue to pray for Ryan, Megan and their babies as God continues to show up and show out with his wonderful miracles! Atlanta Friends this family needs your help.
This sweet family needs a place to stay while the husband recovers at Sheppard. He was pronounced dead in August 27th and then God preformed a miracle.
These sweet children haven't seen their dad since August as he was moved to TN for rehab but he now needs more extensive rehab at the Sheppard Center.
If you know of any place near there that won't break the bank or if anyone would open their home to them. PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
This is me. Loving life, seeking joy and living in His grace.
I am tagging Brenda Phillips Johnson as the contact for this family.

PARENTS: Our Christmas Play is December 15 at the Civic Center in Braselton. It is MANDATORY for ALL students! Yes, even Pre-K, as they will be performing before the Play. K-1st have special parts and will have very important roles! 2nd-11th will all have speaking/singing parts. Seniors will help with staging, seating, music, and will be there to help with anything the directors of the play need. THEY have been told that it is mandatory for weeks now, so all of our kids on work study can give their employer plenty of notice. The kids are helping with the writing or rewriting of the play as well as choosing the music and choreography. This play counts as 50% of their English grade this nine week grading period. We have always performed plays but when Covid hit, we stopped, so this is our first play since December 2019! Our school has always promoted Fine Arts and we always performed two plays per year. This year, we will perform this one, and next year we will definitely perform our Christmas Play and our End of the year Play! We may be a little rusty because we have so many new students, however, they are really working hard! If you have ever been to one of our Plays, you know we always tell the Christmas Story in a non traditional way! This play is no different! It is definitely out of the box! In fact, it is titled, "What's in the Box?" Parents, we welcome family members, but please try to limit your guest besides your immediate family to 5-8. If you need more seating, please call Mrs. Smith. There is no fee, however we do ask for donations for props for our "Renewed" Drama department. We had to throw out ALL our props/costumes when the gym had a leak and ALL of props and costumes were ruined. We are excited to get Drama back at our school. So, December 15, you will surely be blessed! Parents: If you have any Christmas Decor we could borrow for that night, please let us know. We will practice that morning at the Civic Center and we will be decorating as well. Practice this week starts in the gym, so please send your kids with a jacket as the gym gets cool! Anyone who wants to volunteer to help decorate or just give us a helping hand during dress rehearsal on December 15 would help us out tremendously! Thank you all for your support!
Drop by Culver’s on highway 211 in Braselton this Thursday night and have dinner or a dessert!
BCA will get 10% of their sales from 5pm until 8pm.
As we grow, so do our needs for more curriculum, computers, and updated materials for our media center. Every penny, nickel, dime, or dollars add up to help us achieve our goal to keep funds available for the items mentioned as well as replenishing our maintenance account since we had to purchase new AC units a few months ago!
We appreciate all who help with fundraisers and donations! But what we appreciate the most is having a God fearing school where we can pray, read God’s word, and love our kids at BCA unconditionally!
Thanks in advance if you plan to drop by for a few minutes and say hello!

Please be aware that we are monitoring the COVID-19 virus updates carefully. We will take time this weekend to prayerfully and carefully make a decision on school. As always, we will will err on the side of caution and safety for our school family. At this time, we do not have any students that have been exposed to the virus or have been out of the country. We are sanitizing multiple times throughout the day and plan to continue to do so. We have additional cleaning supplies on order as well. As of right now we are planning on operating school days as normal. If a change in our decision is made as the situation progresses, we will host a mandatory parent meeting to discuss options. Multiple digital learning and cyber days require extra effort and extreme discipline on the part of students and parents. Our concerns include students getting in all the scope and sequence, graduation, extended school days, and required testing from SACS this year. This decision is not being taken lightly. Please know safety will be first and foremost.
Please be sure to check your emails on Sunday for any updates.

Because BCA will be close tomorrow due to incoming inclement weather, the School Board Meeting will be rescheduled for Tues, February 5th at 6:30 pm. Any appointments scheduled for tomorrow other than the Board Mtg will need to be rescheduled as well! Stay safe and warm!
Due to possible incoming inclement weather, Braselton Christian Academy has made the decision to close on Tuesday, January 29th. We always err on the side of safety and because the Governor has closed ALL state offices and the National Weather Service is calling for a wintry/snow/ice mix throughout the day tomorrow, we do not want any parents or students driving in inclement weather. We also want to give everyone adequate notice. We pray everyone is safe and we hope we are wrong, however, we have many families in so many different counties to think about! Please stay warm and look for updates on Channel 2 Action News! Thank You!

Due to anticipated icy road conditions in the morning we are delaying the opening of school tomorrow (Tuesday) until 10:00 a.m. Gwinnnett, Hall, Jackson and Barrow have delayed school as well. Thank you for understanding that the safety of our students and staff is priority. We look forward to seeing everyone at 10!
Some folks have asked me when we return to school from Thanksgiving Break. We return Monday, November 26. See you then!
