That's right, it's that time again. Marquand-Zion FBLA is hosting a Blood Drive. Friday, October 7, 2016 please come out to the NEW Marquand-Zion Gym anytime from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm and help us meet our goal of 42 donors. By helping us meet our goal, you make one of our Seniors eligible for a $5000 scholarship and you help save up to 3 lives. So come on out. We hope to see you there!

These two girls did a great job at The 2015 Convention. Julia McElvain received 2nd for English division II. Hailey Boyer received 3rd in English division I. We are all super proud of these two young ladies and ALL the kids who represented Marquand so well during the convention.

A small group is out celebrating Bryan's b-day during convention.

CONVENTION UPDATE (3-4-15)
Leaving: FRIDAY 1:00 PM from school parking lot; picking up a few at Shearer's on 67 along the way
Coming home: MONDAY morning; should be back in Marquand around 1 or 2 PM
Our Hotel has confirmed the change in nights, the bus driver is ready and hopefully the weather will be better.

UPDATE on State Convention
We will NOT be leaving on Thursday March 5th.
We will be leaving Friday March 6th @ 5 PM from the school parking lot. (if we are not in school we may leave at 3 PM)
Due to the expected weather the State Convention has been shifted one day. Instead of events occurring Friday and Saturday, events will be Saturday and Sunday.
I'm waiting to hear from the hotel to make sure we are able to stay Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
This means we will come home on Monday the 9th.
I will keep you all posted! Please spread the word.

STATE CONVENTION
The plan is to leave the school parking lot at 5 PM Thursday. I am going to keep an eye on the weather and road conditions here and in Branson. If the roads are at all questionable then we will leave some time on Friday.

Fundraiser update:
I have received shipping confirmation from both RADA and That's My Pan! So it is looking good for all the items to come in before the kiddos are out for Christmas break.
