We're a bit late with today's post. But thank you to everyone who joined us at the Winter Fire School Expo a week ago. Between everyone who came by the booth on Friday and everyone that attended our three classes during the rest of the weekend, it a great weekend had by all.

We hope to see you on Friday at the MU FRTI Winter Fire School Expo. The doors open at 12 pm and stay open until 8 pm. It's simply the best expo in the state each year, but it's even better when you come visit!

We will be closing out some of our legacy shirts, hats, and other swag with great discounts up to 50% off. And new this year will be The Boo Boo Bus Driver, who will also have swag at the booth.

Come for the expo and stay for the education.

Hey OG's, the MU FRTI 2026 Winter Fire School is LESS than one week away.

Make tracks to join us for the Expo on Friday. Why, you ask? Because we are clearing out inventory and our swag will be CHEAP!!!. T-Shirts, Hats, Challenge Coins, and our usual swag will be discounted for quick sale. We DO NOT want to take it home.

The OG society is bringing a new course to the 2026 MU Winter Fire School titled “Off Airport Response to Downed Aircraft Emergencies” for two 4-hour sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday.

This is short video talking about everything to enjoy at Fire School and we hope to see you there!

We will also have a booth at the Expo again this year with lots of swag and we’ll have a special guest with the “Boo-Boo Bus Driver” joining us this year too! 😉

Aircraft emergencies can happen anywhere. Unfortunately, most emergency response agencies receive little if any training on how to respond to these incidents...

Welp, the OG Society is officially one year old today.

We haven’t accomplished what we set up to do but we did start up and we haven’t given up.

A new full time gig, and other challenges personally and professionally have created distractions from this important project.

But we haven’t given up and hopefully soon we will be ready to get back to the big plans we have for this organization

So don’t give up on us yet. While we’ve been quiet, we are still here. Seriously….
