What comes after high school? 🎓✨
​College, technical programs, military service, or jumping straight into the workforce—there are so many paths available after graduation! Branson High School is bringing these possibilities together under one roof at our annual College & Career Fair.
​📅 Date: Monday, October 19
⏰ Time: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Branson High School (935 Buchanan Road)
​Students in grades 9–12 and their families are encouraged to attend! We are also excited to welcome area high school students and families from Forsyth, Hollister, Blue Eye, Bradleyville, and School of the Ozarks. 🏫🤝

Parent-Teacher Conferences are more than just check-ins—they're your chance to discover the amazing things your children are learning every day! Whether your Pirate is just starting their educational journey or preparing to graduate, this is a great time to strengthen connections, spark engagement, and keep every student's support team strong.

📅 Conference Schedule for Thursday, October 22:
▪️ Elementary (PreK-6): Scheduled meetings between 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Teachers will communicate directly with parents/guardians to set up a meeting time.
▪️ Junior High & High School: By appointment between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and arena-style from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Be sure to watch for building-specific communications with more information.

🛑 Important Schedule Reminders:
▪️ Thursday, Oct. 22: No Student Attendance (Parent-Teacher Conferences)
▪️ Friday, Oct. 23 & Monday, Oct. 26: No School (Fall Break)

We had an incredible time connecting with everyone at our 4th Annual Branson Public Schools Community Summit!

Superintendent Dr. Nate Moore kicked off the event with a great presentation about the district, followed by engaging table discussions where students, parents, teachers, and business leaders shared their ideas and perspectives with district representatives.

This summit is such a meaningful opportunity for us to connect with our community, listen to feedback, and work together toward future success. We are so grateful to everyone who joined us to support Branson Schools! ❤️

🥫 The Harbor Food Drive
Tonight, we are hosting a canned food drive! We will be accepting food and coin donations at the game to support The Harbor, Branson High School’s resource pantry for students and families. Our amazing Kindergarten, Pre-K, and high school students will have a collection tent set up right near the stadium entrance. All proceeds go directly back to our pantry!

🚗 Parking & Shuttles
Parking fills up quickly! Overflow parking will be available at our Buchanan Campus, with shuttle buses running safely to and from Pirate Stadium all evening.

Whether you are packing the stands or cheering from home, head over to our athletics website! Visit the site to purchase your digital tickets in advance or to access the live stream if you can't attend in person.

October 2 is National Custodian Appreciation Day and we are thrilled to honor our amazing team at Branson Public Schools! Our custodians do so much behind the scenes to keep our buildings looking clean and tidy!
Our school days and events would be a mess without our dedicated crew of 50 custodians! Please help us thank them in the comments and as you see them around our buildings!

Welcome back to our Portrait of a Pirate series for Branson Public Schools! This month, we are focusing on a vital character trait: Critical Thinking.

Critical thinking is all about using reasoning to solve problems and make wise decisions. In this video, you will see our students taking the time to break things down, listening to different ideas, and thinking through what makes sense. By learning, adjusting, and evaluating evidence, our students are equipped to approach any problem with curiosity and logic!
