Whether it's under the Friday night lights or on the court, we love seeing our community come out to support our student-athletes! As we gear up for a brand new season of Branson Pirate Athletics, we have two exciting updates for our fans:

💻 The NEW Athletics Website: We've completely redesigned our athletics webpage! It is now easier than ever to find team schedules, rosters, scores, and updates so you never miss a moment of the action.

🎟️ The All Sports Pass: Want to bring the whole crew to the games? The All Sports Pass grants your entire household access to all Pirate home athletic events for the entire school year (excluding MSHSAA post-season events). It's the most cost-effective way for your family to cheer on our Pirates all year long!

6 Days to Back-to-School! 🏴‍☠️

To help you navigate the back-to-school waters, we're sharing 10 district resources and tips to get your crew ready for day one.

Tip 5: Protecting Your Tech Treasure (Chromebook Protection Plan) 💻

Branson Families, we're excited to launch the Pirate Chromebook Protection Plan for the 2026-2027 school year! This new program helps protect our school-issued devices from the costs of accidental damage.

Here is what you need to know to keep your student's device shipshape:

🪙 Cost: The annual damage waiver is only $5.00 per student, providing coverage through June 30, 2027.
📅 Availability: Please note that enrollment for this plan will not be available until the first day of school!
🛡️ What’s Covered: This plan covers accidental damage like drops, cracked screens, liquid spills, power surges, and natural disasters. It even covers loaner devices while yours is being repaired.
💳 Deductibles: For accidental damage claims, the deductible is $0.
⚓ Important Note: The plan does not cover negligence, loss (like missing charging cords), or intentional damage. Costs for those incidents are the responsibility of the student or parent.
🧭 How to File a Claim: If you need assistance during the year, report the issue to your student’s Chromebook Help Desk, and our tech team will handle the assessment.

Tip 4: Fueling the Crew with Nutrition Services 🍎

A well-fed crew is a happy crew! Wondering what our Nutrition Services team is serving up for breakfast and lunch this year? Monthly menus are updated regularly on our website so you can always see what delicious meals are on the horizon.

To make managing meals a breeze, our district utilizes the LINQ Connect app. Through LINQ Connect, families can seamlessly check menus, add funds to their student's meal account, and process the free and reduced-price meal application right from a mobile device.

Pirate Academy concluded this week with a Community Breakfast, giving local business partners an opportunity to meet our new teachers and build connections. We are thankful for our supportive community who cares about students and staff!
