We are a Classical Christian school. We currently offer PreK - Tenth grade.

Legacy Academy exists to develop mature Christ-followers to be poured out as salt and light onto the world. Through academic excellence rooted in the classical model, we strive to partner with parents to provide a Christ-centered education, dedicated to shaping students’ affections toward that which is true, good, and beautiful.

Our annual Lion’s Den Showcase was an incredible start to the season! We welcomed six other schools to campus for a great day of competition!

We are so excited for this season and can’t wait to cheer these Lions all the way to the state tournament!

NEW SIGN ALERT 🤩

Our team of staff and volunteers have worked so incredibly hard over the last few months in cleaning and updating our campus! We also have put up a brand new sign which celebrates our purchase of the building earlier this year.

As we get ready to welcome every student and staff member back through our doors in the coming weeks, we would love for you to join us in prayer over them and over this new school year.

Lord, thank You for this campus, this community, and this fresh start. Be with us every step of the way!

As we took time this Memorial Day to remember and honor those who gave their lives so that we could live in freedom, we at Legacy remain committed to ensuring their sacrifice was not in vain. We strive to help future generations appreciate and honor the incredible sacrifices made so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today.

A few months ago, our school participated in an essay contest hosted by the Lt. Governor’s Office. The prompt was: “I Love America Because…”

We are proud to share that our student Sophie Poff was recognized by the Lt. Governor’s Office for her essay, being selected as one of only ten winners out of 525 submissions!

In her essay, Sophie reflected on how her mother’s perseverance as a single mom inspired her to dream big and pursue a bright future for herself.

We couldn’t be more proud of you, Sophie! Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment!

🏆 Teacher of the Year: Cade Martin!

We are so excited to honor Mr. Cade Martin as our Teacher of the Year!

Next year will mark Mr. Martin’s fifth year with Legacy, and for the past two years he has faithfully served as our Upper School Lead Teacher.

He brings academic rigor and genuine care to each class he teaches, challenging his students to pursue excellence while caring deeply for each one of them.

He invests in their hearts as much as their minds, consistently pointing them toward Christ in his classroom. The lasting mark he leaves on his students is one we will celebrate for years to come!!

Congratulations, Mr. Martin! We are so grateful for you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead!
