Legacy Academy

As we took time this Memorial Day to remember and honor those who gave their lives so that we could live in freedom, we at Legacy remain committed to ensuring their sacrifice was not in vain. We strive to help future generations appreciate and honor the incredible sacrifices made so that we can enjoy the freedoms we have today.

A few months ago, our school participated in an essay contest hosted by the Lt. Governor’s Office. The prompt was: “I Love America Because…”

We are proud to share that our student Sophie Poff was recognized by the Lt. Governor’s Office for her essay, being selected as one of only ten winners out of 525 submissions!

In her essay, Sophie reflected on how her mother’s perseverance as a single mom inspired her to dream big and pursue a bright future for herself.

We couldn’t be more proud of you, Sophie! Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment!

A huge thank you to our Missouri State Senator Brad Hudson for coming to be our guest speaker at our End of Year Ceremony!

Thank you for taking the time to speak wisdom and encouragement into our students. Your words challenged them to dream big, work hard, and pursue excellence while also remembering the importance of seeking God’s will for their lives above all else.

We are so grateful for leaders who invest in the next generation and remind our students that true success is found not only in achievement, but in faithfully walking the path God has prepared for them!!

Our returning families have officially enrolled for the upcoming school year which means that we are now are in our second round of enrollment for Fall 2026/2027!

FIELD TRIPS 🤩

Some of the most meaningful learning happens beyond the classroom walls. Field trips give our students the opportunity to experience firsthand the beauty, order, and wonder of the world around them, deepening what they’ve been learning and bringing it to life in a tangible way.

Whether exploring nature, visiting local landmarks, or engaging with our community, these moments help cultivate curiosity, joy, and a greater appreciation for all of God’s creation.

We believe that education is not just about knowledge, but about forming hearts that recognize truth, goodness, and beauty wherever they go. Field trips are a special part of that journey, creating memories and shaping perspectives that last far beyond the day.
