You’ve Been Booked is a new library program where each month I fill special themed bags with books that travel around classrooms. When a class gets “booked,” teachers can read the books aloud and students get to practice being book critics, sharing whether they loved, kind of liked, or didn’t enjoy each story.
The purpose? To get kids reading more and expose them to a wider variety of authors, characters, and stories! Sometimes a book you would never choose on your own turns out to be a new favorite!
Classes that read and critique every book in the bag earn the chance to choose one of the titles to keep for their classroom library!
Each month brings a new theme and a new collection of books! September kicked things off with “You’ve Been Booked” and October is right around the corner!🎃
