Covered, Protected & Strengthened! 💙
This week during chapel, Ms. Emersyn shared a meaningful message with our preschoolers inspired by Deuteronomy 33:12:
“The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him, and the Lord shall cover him all the day long…” — Deuteronomy 33:12 (KJV)
Using a simple blanket and a preschool volunteer, Ms. Emersyn gave our little learners a powerful object lesson about God’s protection and presence. She covered Mia completely with the blanket and reminded the children that, just as the blanket covered Mia, God covers us, protects us, and stays with us. 🙏
Then came the question: “What does it mean that God will dwell between our shoulders?”
The blanket became a cape! Ms. Emersyn explained that God gives us strength and His Spirit’s power to help us through each day.
The children’s response? A resounding “YESSSSSS!!” ❤️
What a beautiful reminder for all of us: God is with us, He covers us, He protects us, and He makes us strong! ✨
