Parents, don’t get frustrated. Breathe. Seek Jesus first. Ask for help. Stop and pray. Pray for wisdom. Pray for the kids. Pray WITH the kids and WITH your spouse. Ask for prayer from others.
And then pick up the school work later. It might be 30 minutes later and it might be tomorrow or even next week.

It’s worth the extra time. And do something fun. Take a walk, have a snack, turn on fun music, or play a game, call some friends, go on a trip.

Choose Him. The rest will fall into place.

You spent years building something real alongside your student. The iron-sharpening-iron community. The classical conversations. The Christ-centered formation. And then Challenge IV graduation comes — and something fundamental goes quiet.
