Save the Date: The First-Ever BHS Hornet Fair — January 29 at 6:00pm!

Branford High School is excited to announce a brand-new experience for our incoming 9th graders and their families: the BHS Hornet Fair, launching January 29!

Based on feedback from both our leadership team and WIS families, we've reimagined our traditional March “orientation” into something earlier, more engaging, and designed with you in mind.

The Hornet Fair will give students and families an early look at all that BHS has to offer, from our expanding Program of Studies to our wide range of athletic programs and clubs. This new format is built to be interactive, informative, and a great way to kick off your transition to high school.

Here’s what to expect:

⭐ Part 1: Academic & Elective Spotlights (30–45 minutes)
Hear directly from our Department Leaders as they introduce the courses, opportunities, and pathways available to you at BHS.

⭐ Part 2: Immersive Student Experience (30 minutes)
Meet our student leaders, scholar-athletes, and club representatives in the BHS Student Center. Discover activities to join, teams to try out for, and the many ways to get involved from day one.

We can’t wait to welcome you and help you start imagining your future as a BHS Hornet. We’ll send out a few reminders, but please be sure to mark your calendar for January 29 at 6:00pm!
