This month, we shine a bright spotlight on Jim O’Connor, principal of Mary R. Tisko Elementary School! 🎉

For 16 years, Jim has led Tisko with passion and purpose, keeping students at the heart of every decision while supporting and caring for his staff along the way. Jim is more than Tisko’s principal; he is the unofficial mascot of Branford Public Schools. 🐝Whether attending events throughout the community, coaching girls’ high school lacrosse, or cheering on a colleague in need, Jim brings energy, kindness, and an unmistakable Branford spirit wherever he goes.

Jim truly embodies all that is good about , and we are incredibly fortunate to have him as a leader, colleague, coach, and champion for our students and community.
