100% Our kids and our roads safety is a shared responsibility between families, law enforcement and community engagement.

Meaningful conversations at home start to build awareness about the serious and life-changing consequences of injuries related to E-riders.

As a community, we commit to enabling and supporting events that educate and reinforce a responsible culture for riders of all ages.

According to Branford Police Department:
“Connecticut Children’s Emergency Department has reported a concerning rise in e-scooter-related trauma cases, including head injuries, concussions, traumatic brain injuries, facial injuries and fractures. Trauma and pediatric orthopedic surgeons are also sounding the alarm as emergency departments across the country continue to see serious injuries associated with e-bikes and e-scooters.”

How to manage Back to School Stress:
As the new school year approaches, it's normal for both students and parents to experience a mix of excitement and stress. Whether it's adjusting to new routines, meeting new teachers, or balancing busy schedules, taking small steps to prepare can make the transition easier. We are facing a national blood crisis, with summer blood donations falling to a four-year low. Your help is needed now to avoid surgery delays, postponed cancer treatments and strained emergency care.

Just three more donors at each blood drive this summer can end this crisis and stabilize the blood supply. Please don’t wait. Book an appointment to give blood now: https://rdcrss.org/4fQAcCu
