Many people, including myself, are taking the dive into suppressors with new regulations more closely aligned with the 2nd Amendment (having no infringements would be perfectly aligned).
I myself am looking to start by suppressing a 5.56 AR-15 and a G***k 17 to start. Recommendations? I understand that more considerations go into noise suppression including mounting.

We have a ton of people in our community with great knowledge on the topic and looking forward to the insight provided in the comments below.

This morning, at about 9:05AM, while doing business at my local credit union branch here in Waldorf, a crazed man high on P*P entered the branch and caused all sorts of mayhem. Luckily, he wasn’t armed and CCSO came quickly. He was a foot away from me. Things could’ve escalated. I remembered the training that Ryan Gass gave us many years ago and I kept my composure, stared at him with a calm look, and then he himself calmed down after a very calm branch manager came over to where I was seated and walked him out of that area. My life could have ended right there and then. People, it’s so important that we have access to weapons, especially guns. If he had had a gun, I wouldn’t be here right now. The customer service rep helping me would not be here either. All I kept thinking about was my son, and thanking God that he wasn’t there with me at the time. Stay alert! Things are going downhill fast in society.

I highly recommend getting your training and qualifications through PTP. Ryan is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and takes his time with anyone who needs assistance! I had my Maryland Concealed Carry Renewal class on Thursday, July 16. I enjoyed the class and hopefully passed. I was doing pretty good when we started but I quickly was fading due to the heat and humidity. I toughed through it but without the help of Ryan and the others that were also there at the range, I am not sure what would have happened. Everyone was so nice in helping me get cooled down and I just wanted to thank them all! Wishing everyone the best of everything in life. Sorry if I had anyone worried or scared.

Crazy its taken this long to clarify common sense

ATF is proposing to clarify protections for the interstate transportation of fi****ms by lawful owners. The update would formally recognize that routine travel activities, such as overnight stops, refueling, vehicle maintenance, emergency stops, and medical needs, are part of lawful “transport” under the Fi****ms Owners’ Protection Act. It also updates rules for ammunition and accessories and clarifies secure storage requirements during transit. Virginia Concealed Carry Training

Afternoon, I have had several people asking me about our next Virginia Concealed Carry training course in the Colonial Beach area with the pending gun laws and I finally was able to add it to the schedule.

WE DO STILL HAVE 7 SPOTS LEFT. And will be cutting off registration regardless by Sunday so as to get the information to registered students and prep accordingly.

This is not like the other Concealed Carry classes you have either been to or heard about where they spend like 20min talking about how to shoot, talk about the laws surrounding Concealed carry in our state for 20 minutes, and then have a presenter trying to sell you on some membership or insurance for another hour before you grab your certificate declaring you are ready to go out and responsibly exercise your right. This is a in-depth class with focuses on safely carrying your Handgun, Virginia law and how to interact with law enforcement while carrying and/or after having defended yourself.

This isn't a check in a box. We aren't selling you a piece of paper. This is for those that value knowledge and experience. This is for those that want a through preparation for what they are about to get them into.
