✨STRIVE AWARDS DAY✨
Today was about celebrating all of the hard work that our young adults have put into the STRIVE I & II programs! Thank you to everyone who came out today to support us and for all who have supported us throughout the year! It was such a special time acknowledging all of the accomplishments these students have made and awarding all of their talents and unique gifts! Thank you to all of the families for the love and support you have given us and to all of the educators who have helped them get here today! We love each and every one of our students and can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for our ones completing the program this year 💜

The STRIVE class has been wanting to try and make sushi for a while now… so today was the day!! It took a minute to figure it out, but they all said it was super delicious and they were so excited! 🍣🍱🥢🥠

Lizzy B. also made us the most delicious red velvet cake topped with chocolate covered strawberries 🍰🍓 😀

A beautiful morning helping at Rosie’s Community Garden!!

Today the students were still exhausted from their Fun Filled Friday last week! Last Friday they had the Goodwill Industries of Mississippi Job Extravaganza all day and the RCSD Enchanted Evening Prom at Florence High School all night. It was a busy day but they had the best time! Thank you Goodwill for having us at the awesome job extravaganza! Thank you RichardnTiffany Turner Withers for putting on such a magical event! It was so fun to watch my students get to be themselves and dance the night away 🪩💐🌺🌸🪻

We had a great morning at one of our favorite spots Rosie’s Community Garden!! We also celebrated our sweet Emily’s birthday this afternoon! It was a great day back! 💜💜💜

Thank you Highland Bluff for letting us come a couple of days and help run your Bluff Market and help out in your greenhouse! We had such a great time and got some good store training skills in as well! My students loved meeting everyone and did an awesome job! So proud of them!
