Look who has been growing up! Our sweet baby goats are getting so big! We adopted Daisy and Oreo in February to keep sweet Cole company. They are getting almost as big as him now!

Eighteen years ago today, First Discoveries opened its doors by offering a summer camp at a church. We began humbly, with a small staff and just 7 kids on our first day.

Since then, over 1000 children have attended preschool, kindergarten, elementary school, and summer camp programs.

We have been blessed to have such amazing children, families, and staff members. Serving our community has been a blessing and a joy!

Our school has grown and changed in so many ways, but we have always stayed true to our core belief:

Learning should be joyous and full of wonder, and childhood should be treasured.

Each day for the last eighteen years (and hopefully for many, many more), we have built our school around one important idea ...

Happy Music Monday! Mr Tom visited today with African drums. We learned that the drums are made with wood, rope and goat skin. Did you know that you can make three notes on an African drum: bass, slap and tone. Today, we all had the opportunity to try each of the notes in lots of fun rhythms. Mr Tom is the uncle of one of our second graders and he has been learning about drums since he was a boy. What an amazing day!
