Nativity Catholic School We're a learning community that prepares & inspires every child to achieve their God-given potential.

The mission of Nativity Catholic School, in partnership with our families, is to prepare and inspire each student academically and spiritually to serve the Body of Christ. Nativity is fully accredited by the Florida Catholic Conference and is nationally recognized for Excellence and Innovation in Catholic Education. Nativity Catholic School offers classes for PreK3 - 8th Grade. Nativity has 22 classrooms, a STREAM lab, Art and Music studios, a complete Spanish and Physical Education program, Science Lab, as well as a Media Center.

Last Friday was Munchkins with Mom and Special Friend! Thank you to all the moms, special friends, and little munchkins who joined us. A special shout-out goes to our wonderful dads who volunteered their time to help make this event a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Thank you for making the day so memorable. We can’t wait to see you again next year!

Our Student Council led this month’s prayer service, bringing our Nativity Catholic School community together to reflect on October’s virtue of Charity (Love).

Through the Gospel of the Good Samaritan and the inspiring examples of St. Teresa of Calcutta and Dorothy Day, our students reminded us that true love is shown through kindness, compassion, and service to others.
As we journey through October, we are challenged to ask ourselves: “How can I love like Jesus?”

Annual Egg Drop Challenge! Ms. Meyer’s 8th-grade class put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test, designing pods to minimize impact and protect an egg dropped from the second floor—with limited materials!

Our school community gathered in the church this morning for a beautiful prayer service honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady of the Rosary. Deacon Joe and Mr. Young, along with our 4th graders, led the service. A special thank you to our 1A students for beautifully leading the choir.

Deacon Joe also blessed our students’ rosaries, and we prayed the Rosary together, led by Mrs. Haslam.

May Mary continue to guide us closer to Jesus through prayer and faith.

Yesterday’s All-School Mass was celebrated by Father Izzie and assisted by Deacon Bob. We are so proud of our 5B students, who did a wonderful job hosting the Mass and leading us in the choir alongside their 2nd Grade Prayer Partners.

Yesterday’s Gospel reminds us to follow Jesus with our whole heart. Don’t put off doing what is right—say yes to Jesus today! Help someone, be kind, forgive, and let your actions show your faith.

A little science, a lot of shaking, and a whole lot of deliciousness! Our fifth graders had a sweet time putting science into action with Mrs. Curcio! They mixed up milk, sugar, and vanilla, then got to work shaking their way toward a frozen treat.
Once the ice cream was ready, it was time for the most important part—the taste test! Topped with rainbow and chocolate sprinkles - it was the perfect reward for all that hard work.

Our All-School Mass was celebrated by Father Mike and assisted by Deacon Bob as we gathered to celebrate the Feast of St. Padre Pio.

Thank you to our 5A students and their Prayer Partners from 2A for beautifully and reverently hosting the Mass and leading us in the choir.

During his homily, Deacon Bob reminded us of an important lesson from the Gospel: we are never alone. Jesus calls us to trust in Him, pray for His guidance, and turn to Him when we need help.

He also reminded us that we can each help and bring healing to others through our kindness, compassion, prayers, and willingness to help those in need. And when we aren't sure how to help, we can turn to St. Joseph, asking him to intercede for us and guide us as we serve others.

Today’s second-grade Enrichment students started their extreme weather and natural disaster unit. They spent the morning in the courtyard on a weather scavenger hunt, where they learned many interesting facts. Did you know that before 1979, all hurricanes were given female names? Or that the average lifespan of a tornado is only about ten minutes? We do!
