At our school, we don’t give up stripes or belts., or do belt tests. You have to put the work every day, you have to practice and apply your skills on the mats! There are no shortcuts.
In a world where everyone thinks they are entitled to a medal or trophy , we refuse to award such mentality.
You teach them young, about grinding, goals and perseverance. You teach them to not give up when things get hard.
