Congratulations to Rachel Alexander who was recognized by the Rankin Co School Board this week for being 1st in the state in FFA Extemporaneous Speaking!

189 members, 100% SAE, 2 Star National FFA Chapter and 31 State Finalists all adds up to lessons in leadership and workforce skills but most importantly lots of SMILES!

What a wonderful year of accomplishments from Brandon FFA!

BHS FFA members are working hard, and it shows! We are proud to celebrate our state-level accomplishments:
• Agricultural Communications Proficiency
• Specialty Crop Proficiency
• Finalist for Greenhand Star
• Finalist for Chapter Star
• State FFA Degree
We also had several teams and individuals qualify for state competition:
• Opening & Closing Ceremonies
• Parliamentary Procedure
• Extemporaneous Speaking
• National Creed
In addition, the Brandon FFA Chapter earned a 2-Star National Chapter Rating!
Even more impressive—100% of our students have Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects. Student growth is evident, and big things are happening in our program.

Happy Friday!! Our last student teacher we are highlighting is Regan Hand. She is currently placed at Brandon Middle and High School with her mentor teacher, Ms. Boatner. We are so proud of each of these 2026 graduates and cannot wait to see them become new leaders in this industry. Congratulations grads! 🎓🎉

BMS FFA members competed today at MSU for State Tool and Equipment ID. Congratulations and job well done! These individuals learned 250 tools by name and function.
