🖤❤️ Red & Black Fridays are the BEST! ❤️🖤

Our Rouse Bulldogs have been bringing the spirit every Friday! Our school is decked out in red and black as we cheer on our Bulldogs and celebrate the pride we have in our school community.

We’ve loved welcoming our cheerleaders, football players, and dance team to help us spread the Bulldog spirit. Our little Bulldogs are learning early—there’s nothing like being part of a team! 🐾

Friendship was the sweetest lesson in first grade! Our students recently wrapped up their unit on friendship and treating others with kindness by reading Enemy Pie and putting the story into action by making their own Enemy Pie.

Along the way, students practiced retelling, identified character traits and setting, and explored the story’s central message. What a fun way to learn that kindness can turn an enemy into a friend! Check out these friends Mrs. Conn’s First Grade Class!

Mrs. Evans’ kindergarten class has been learning all about colors, and they were so excited when special visitors brought Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? to life with a fun and engaging play! 🐻🌈

Our students loved seeing what they’ve been learning come to life right before their eyes! Learning is even more meaningful when we can experience it, too! ❤️

Our students are learning that the world is made up of many different communities, cultures, family traditions, and ways of celebrating what makes us unique. After reading Suki’s Kimono, students explored Japanese culture and the importance of appreciating and sharing traditions.

Students made “candy sushi”. Then, they put their sequencing skills to work by writing “How to Make Sushi!” Students practiced using beginning, middle, and end to organize their ideas and explain each step in the correct order. *Check out a few pictures from Mrs. Seale’s and Mrs. Curtis’s classes.

Our friends from Mrs. Barnette’s class stepped up to help with morning announcements this week, and they did an amazing job! From leading the Pledge of Allegiance to sharing the Rouse Motto, these little Bulldogs helped get our days started with confidence, pride, and purpose.

We love seeing our students take on leadership roles and shine! ❤️🖤

Our little Bulldogs got a special lesson in football from some of our Brandon High School Brandon Bulldog Athletics football players today! They helped our youngest learners run drills, learn new skills, and—most importantly—have FUN in our brand-new gym!

And of course, our little cheerleaders were there to cheer them on every step of the way!

Nothing better than seeing our Bulldogs of all ages learning, leading, and cheering each other on. The new gym is officially broken in! #042
