As a new year begins so does the fundraising. FHS FFA is proud to offer our Fall Mum sale again this year. We will offer 5 different color varieties in 2 size options. Orders are due September 10th and will be delivered the week of September 28th. See any FFA member for details and to order!

Teacher Leader Academy 2026 was a great success. Brandon, Northwest Rankin, and Pelahatchie Ed Prep teachers enjoyed professional development with many other EdRising advisors across Mississippi! Together, we experienced a full day of dynamic sessions covering everything from competitive events and conference updates to building positive chapter cultures. Thank you to Belhaven and MS Ed Rising for bringing passion, expertise, and dedication to empowering teacher leaders statewide!

We are excited to kick off something new this year. With the push for Work Based Learning becoming a strong part of education, our agriculture program wants to showcase our hardworking students through their Supervised Agriculture Experience projects. We will be recognizing a monthly SAE Spotlight of the Month showcasing a deserving member.

For the month of August we recognize Kyle Adcock. Kyle’s project involves food service where he works for Jerry’s Catfish House in Florence. Kyle does a great job documenting his project and maintaining his hours.
