I appreciate Chris coming out to 49 Golf Range and Retreat in Florence,Ms over the weekend for a golf lesson. It was a solid hour of work. We worked on his alignment and pre-shot routine, and as far as his full swing, he had a couple of steepeners, so we added in some shallowers to help clean up his contact. As always, he now has a game plan and some drills to work on going forward. Great work, Chris! 📐

The arc of the golf swing is basically a circle on an inclined plane. In this illustration, that swing arc is flat in 2D for a different visual perspective.

If we strike the ball early (before LP) in the circle due to ball position, our path will be right of the target. If the face matches that path = push.

Contrastingly, if we strike the ball later (after LP) in the circle due to ball position, our path will be left of the target. If the face matches that path = pull.

Ball position is highly important and will influence ball flight 📐

I really appreciate Landon giving me the opportunity to help him with his golf swing at 49 Golf Range and Retreat in Florence,Ms. We worked on how he pivots. He had a reverse pivot (image on the left), and now he's loading completely differently (image on the right). But more than anything, he now knows the "Why and the How" and has some homework to work on! Great work, Landon! 📐
